RiseUp is a self-funded health benefit plan sponsored by the employer and administered in accordance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). It is not insurance and is not issued or underwritten by an insurance company. Administrative services are provided by Health Admins, LLC, a third-party administrator. A DBA registration is pending approval. Stop-loss coverage is separately secured by the employer and is intended to protect the plan against large or catastrophic claims. It does not provide direct benefits to plan participants.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) services are included as part of the self-funded health plan. These services are not insurance and are paid for directly by the employer. DPC services are available only to eligible plan participants and are not billed through a traditional insurance carrier. This self-funded plan does not use a traditional insurance network. Access to providers is based on direct contracts and may vary by location and service type.
